Dan Esty is Hillhouse Professor of Environmental Law and Policy at Yale University. He is Director of the Center for Business and Environment at Yale and Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy. He was a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and has helped many global companies, including DuPont, Unilever and Shell, design serious, long-term environmental programmes. Esty has studied environmental initiatives around the world and has developed critical insights into why some initiatives fail while others greatly exceed expectations. He believes that environmental projects require deep commitment from top management, well-formed strategy and disciplined execution.

Third party auditing of all EcoSecurities projects ensures that all emission reductions generated are robust.
