We also set exceptionally high standards: any pilot, no matter how experienced, must spend at least six months as a first officer before becoming a NetJets captain.

The IATA Operational Safety Audit is the gold standard in aviation safety, and is held by every major commercial airline. NetJets Europe was the first private jet company to meet this uncompromising level. Among many other firsts, in 2010 we unveiled a €5 million private training facility – the only one of its kind. And to ensure our standards continue to lead the industry, we will invest €750 million in safety and training over five years.
