NetJets Europe is financially backed by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway.
With assets approaching $300 billion USD (2009) and a AA+ credit rating, Berkshire Hathaway is one of the world’s strongest companies. This strength has real advantages for NetJets Europe clients, and allows us to offer our Owners a level of service and safety that is not just unmatched, but unmatchable.
Industry-leading pilot training
We spend roughly twice as much on crew training as industry averages – a vital component of our commitment to safety. In total, our pilots spend 50% more time in full-motion flight simulators each year than most commercial airline pilots. In 2010, we opened a purpose-built €5-million crew training facility.
An unmatched investment in safety
Over five years, we will invest €750 million in safety and training. Onboard and on the ground, we deploy state-of-the-art systems to operate aircraft, monitor flights, and maintain our position as the safest name in private aviation.
Gold-standard maintenance programmes
Unlike many charter operators, we carry out our own fleet maintenance, with a dedicated maintenance centre at Northolt in the UK. We use only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, and maintain close relationships with our suppliers to ensure the air-worthiness of all our aircraft.
A secure place for your money
While a number of charter operators have gone out of business in recent years, you can be confident that the money you spend with NetJets Europe is secure, backed by the strength and integrity of Berkshire Hathaway.
